Broward Sheriff's Office Responds to Oakland Park Home Depot Parking Lot Incident
Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a Home Depot parking lot in Oakland Park on Friday, August 7, 2026, at around 2:45 p.m.
Deputies and Oakland Park Fire Rescue personnel arrived shortly after the call was made, responding to the scene at 1701 West Oakland Park Boulevard.
A white work van with a rusty roof was found parked in the middle of a road within the parking lot, its driver's door open. Broward Sheriff’s Office patrol cars blocked the vehicle.
