Buffett's Legacy Lives On: Berkshire Hathaway's Top Holdings Remain Dividend-Focused
Warren Buffett's investment legacy continues to shape Berkshire Hathaway's portfolio. Under Greg Abel, successor to Buffett as CEO, the top holdings remain largely unchanged, with a focus on dividend-paying stocks.
The current top five positions in the Berkshire Hathaway portfolio are Apple (AAPL), American Express (AXP), Coca-Cola Inc (KO), Alphabet Inc (GOOGL), and Bank of America Corporation (BAC). These companies have been part of Buffett's investment strategy for decades, with Alphabet being a newer addition.
These top five holdings make up around 69% of the portfolio and collectively generate significant dividend income. In fact, Berkshire Hathaway collects $589 million in quarterly dividend payments from these stocks, with an annual total of $2.36 billion.
