Bull Harbor Capital LLC has made a new investment in Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT), purchasing 16,323 shares of the software giant's stock worth approximately $6,042,000. This represents about 1.6% of Bull Harbor Capital LLC's holdings, making Microsoft its fourth-largest position.
The purchase is part of a broader trend of institutional investors increasing their stakes in Microsoft. In the first quarter, other large investors such as Strategic Investment Advisors MI and Ashton Thomas Securities LLC also boosted their positions in the company, with Strategic Investment Advisors MI lifting its stake by 27% to 41,426 shares.
Microsoft has been a standout performer in recent months, with analysts predicting strong growth due to its dominance in the cloud computing market. In July, Microsoft reported a quarterly earnings per share of $4.74, exceeding analyst expectations and driving its stock price up. The company's revenue for the quarter was also up 17.7% compared to the same period last year.
