Microsoft Copilot and Google Gemini are expanding their offerings in the business AI space, giving companies alternatives to Claude. The choice between these two platforms comes down to ecosystem fit, governance, pricing, and workflows.

Copilot has a stronger native fit for organizations centered on Microsoft 365, while Gemini is integrated into Google Workspace and Google Cloud environments. Microsoft currently lists Copilot Business from $18 per user per month with annual billing, compared to the regular starting price of $21.

Google's Gemini Enterprise capabilities include workflow builder, agent monitoring, search, and enterprise data. The company has also introduced pay-as-you-go pricing for eligible organizations, giving them a consumption-based option for agent and model usage.
