California State Teachers Retirement System Makes Massive Bet on Coca-Cola
The California State Teachers Retirement System (CalSTRS) significantly increased its stake in Coca-Cola Company in the second quarter, according to the company's recent filing with the Securities & Exchange Commission.
CalSTRS purchased an additional 480,979,487 shares of Coca-Cola stock during the period, bringing its total ownership to 487,509,960 shares. This represents a 7,365.2% increase in CalSTRS' stake in the company.
The fund's investment in Coca-Cola is valued at $39,619,934,000, which accounts for approximately 11.33% of the company's total ownership.
