Call of Duty Lands on Nintendo Switch After 10-Year Microsoft-Nintendo Deal
Microsoft and Nintendo have finally delivered on their promise to bring Call of Duty games to the Switch, after signing a binding 10-year contract in February 2023. The long-awaited release is Modern Warfare 4, which has already gone live with a pre-order beta on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S|X.
Switch players are not included in this beta test, but select creators have had access to the Nintendo version ahead of its public release. According to reports from Wccftech, Spawn Wave and Nintendo World Report content creators played the Switch 2 edition before the wider audience.
This marks a significant milestone for both companies, as it's the first tangible result of their agreement covering Call of Duty releases on Nintendo platforms.
