Canada Pension Plan Investment Board Buys into Salesforce
The Canada Pension Plan Investment Board has acquired a new stake in Salesforce Inc., purchasing 366,320 shares of the CRM provider's stock during the second quarter.
The purchase is valued at approximately $57.38 million and brings the total number of institutional investors owning Salesforce stock to 80.43%.
This move follows other institutional investors, including BlackRock Inc., State Street Corp, J. Stern & Co. LLP, Capital International Investors, and Geode Capital Management LLC, who have also increased their stakes in Salesforce during the second quarter.
