The flight from Edmonton to Yellowknife was on a vintage Boeing 737-300QC, which has been modified to carry cargo and passengers simultaneously. The aircraft has a unique layout, with three main deck freight pallets forward of the passenger cabin, reducing capacity to 80 seats.

Boarding was quick, despite the long walkway from the terminal to the remote stand. The cabin crew welcomed passengers aboard and found room for an impressive collection of bags in the overhead bins.
