Cargo Plane Crash: Pilot Warned About Speed Before Fatal Landing
An investigation into the Amazon cargo plane crash on Florida's runway has revealed that one of the pilots repeatedly warned about coming in too fast nearly two minutes before landing. The National Transportation Safety Board released details from the cockpit recording, which showed the pilot warning his colleague about their speed.
The Amazon plane overshot the runway by approximately 1,300 feet and crashed into a van carrying workers at a plane cleaning company, killing five people on Sunday afternoon. The two pilots survived the crash, but five others were injured in the incident.
