Cast Previews Underway for Disney Animation Ahead of September Opening
Disney Cast Member previews have started at The Magic of Disney Animation inside Hollywood Studios. It's unclear which groups of employees are currently eligible to participate in this preview.
The attraction is set to officially open to guests on September 14th inside the reimagined Walt Disney Studios Lot courtyard. We observed Cast Members going through the space after construction walls were removed from the area, a sign that The Magic of Disney Animation is nearing its debut.
A public soft opening remains unconfirmed ahead of the official debut. It's possible Disney has opened it more broadly to Walt Disney World Cast Members as a whole, but we don't know for sure. We also don't know how long the Cast previews will run, though they typically come near the end of the construction process.
