Castleark Management LLC invested $4.09 million in The Home Depot, Inc. (NYSE:HD) by purchasing 11,590 shares of its stock during the second quarter.
This purchase was disclosed in a recent SEC filing and represents just one of several large investments made in the home improvement retailer by various institutional investors over the past few months.
The Home Depot has been a popular target for investors due to its strong earnings growth and steady dividend payments. In fact, the company's quarterly dividend payment, announced earlier this month, will be $2.33 per share paid out on September 17th to shareholders of record by September 3rd.
