CAT Construction Revenues Skyrocket 34.8% YoY in Q2
Caterpillar Inc.'s Construction Industries segment has been a key growth driver for the company. In Q2, it saw a 34.8% year-over-year revenue increase to $8.35 billion, accounting for roughly 41% of Caterpillar's total revenues.
The segment generated approximately $25.1 billion in sales in 2025 and has been accelerating its momentum since then. The strong demand is driven by higher equipment sales volumes, favorable pricing, and a wider global footprint with over 700,000 customers across more than 190 countries.
Caterpillar aims to increase Construction Industries' sales to end-users by 1.25 times by 2030 compared with 2024 levels, supported by its expectation that global construction spending will increase more than 25% between 2024 and 2034.
