Chancellor Financial Group Buys Into IBM
Chancellor Financial Group WB LP has acquired a new stake in International Business Machines Corporation (IBM), purchasing 2,361 shares of the technology company's stock. This investment is valued at approximately $664,000.
This acquisition is part of a larger trend of institutional investors buying into IBM. In the second quarter, BlackRock Inc. purchased a new position in IBM worth $21.586 billion, while Bank of New York Mellon Corp acquired 2.6068 trillion shares valued at around $2.4464 billion.
Capital World Investors increased its stake in IBM by 29.2% during the fourth quarter, purchasing an additional 4.9767 million shares. Deutsche Bank AG also bought a new position in IBM in the second quarter, worth about $960.8 million.
