ChatGPT Ties Up Loose Ends with Google Drive Integration
OpenAI's ChatGPT has rolled out a multi-feature update that includes deeper integration with Google Drive. The primary focus of this release is to eliminate the need for users to constantly switch between tabs when working on cloud files.
Paid subscribers can now select the plus button in the prompt field to add files directly from their Google Drive into the ChatGPT Library. Once a document is connected, the chatbot can open and modify it directly, with changes reflecting in the actual source file rather than a static copy.
The update also includes a dedicated tool for interactive learning, allowing users to generate multiple-choice tests on any subject using natural language prompts. These quizzes feature built-in navigation between questions and a hint button to guide users through complex topics.
Another integration with Yelp allows ChatGPT users to book tables and join restaurant waitlists using natural language. This feature helps users go from discovering a local business to taking action in a single conversation.
