Chevron-Backed AUW Concludes Four-Week Math and Science Summer School

Chevron-backed Asian University for Women (AUW) concluded its four-week Math and Science Summer School in Chattogram, Bangladesh. The programme aimed to encourage young women to pursue STEM education, with Chevron supporting it since 2019.

A total of 104 students from across the country attended the summer school. Chevron's Director of Operations Ashiq Rahman said they supported the initiative to 'encourage more young women to pursue STEM education and unlock their potential.'

Dr Md Ziauddin, Chattogram Divisional Commissioner, praised the university and Chevron for supporting women's education and preparing future leaders in STEM.
