Chevron Bangladesh Names Shu Xiong as New President

Chevron Bangladesh has announced that Shu Xiong will take over as president and managing director on August 1, 2026. She succeeds Eric M Walker, who led the company for six years.

Shu brings a wealth of experience to her new role, having held senior leadership positions within Chevron since joining in 2007. Her responsibilities have included advising executives, supporting investment decisions, and managing key partner and market relationships.

Chevron Bangladesh is the country's largest producer of natural gas, accounting for about 60 percent of domestic production and more than 83 percent of condensate output.
