Chevron Cyprus Employees Volunteer at Children's House in Nicosia
Chevron Cyprus marked another milestone in its partnership with Hope For Children, a non-profit organisation that supports vulnerable children in Cyprus. On June 2024, a team of 13 Chevron employees volunteered at the Children's House in Nicosia, a facility dedicated to handling cases of child sexual abuse and exploitation.
The team's work included painting outdoor furniture and exterior walls, assembling new waiting room furniture, and adding creative touches such as artwork created by employees' children. They also planted new trees in the garden and repaired the facility's irrigation system.
'Meaningful partnerships like the one we share with Chevron Cyprus enable us to strengthen the services we provide to children who have experienced abuse,' said Andria Neocleous, Executive Director of Hope for Children.
