Chevron Cyprus Strengthens Partnership with Hope For Children Through Volunteer Activity
Chevron Cyprus has strengthened its long-standing partnership with 'Hope For Children' CRC Policy Center through a recent volunteer activity at the Children's House in Nicosia. As part of the Humankind Day initiative, a team of 13 Chevron employees came together to support the facility by painting outdoor furniture and exterior walls, assembling new waiting room furniture, and adding creative touches such as a handcrafted decoration.
The team also added new plants to the garden and repaired the facility's irrigation system. This effort not only enhanced the physical space but also strengthened the facility's mission of providing children with comfort, safety, and respect during challenging times in their lives.
'Meaningful partnerships like the one we share with Chevron Cyprus enable us to strengthen the services we provide to children who have experienced abuse,' said Andria Neocleous, Executive Director of Hope for Children. 'Their continued support reflects a shared commitment to ensuring that every child receives the care, protection, and dignity they deserve.'
The partnership between Chevron Cyprus and 'Hope For Children' has been ongoing since 2020 and has supported vulnerable children through various initiatives. In addition to the recent volunteer activity, Chevron Cyprus has donated €10,000 to support the 'Homes for Hope' program, which provides safe accommodation, access to education, and essential care for unaccompanied children.
