Chevron Eyes Increased Investment in Bangladesh's Aging Gas Fields

A high-level Chevron delegation led by Javier La Rosa, president of Chevron Corporation's Base Assets and Emerging Countries Division, met with Prime Minister Tarique Rahman to discuss increasing investment in Bangladesh's existing gas fields. The meeting aimed at exploring new gas reserves, as well as investing in older ones.

The discussion focused on the energy sector, particularly on increasing investment in old gas fields and exploring new ones. Chevron Bangladesh President and Managing Director Shu Xiong was also present during the meeting along with other senior officials.
