Chevron Refinery Incident Causes Minor Injuries to Three Workers
Three contract workers at the Chevron Refinery in Pascagoula, Mississippi suffered minor injuries after a high pressure release incident on Saturday morning.
The workers were employed by Apache Industrial Services and were taken to Singing River Hospital's emergency room for evaluation.
A spokesperson for Chevron confirmed that all mitigation systems functioned as designed during the incident and that equipment involved is stable and safe.
The company conducted air monitoring in the community but found no impacts outside of the facility.
