Chevron Seeks Collaboration to Secure Nigeria's Energy Future
Chevron Nigeria Limited has emphasized the need for collaboration among government, regulators, and industry operators to build a resilient oil and gas sector that can deliver growth, jobs, and energy security for Nigeria.
Speaking at the 49th Nigerian Annual International Conference and Exhibition (NAICE) in Lagos, Managing Director of Chevron Nigeria Limited, Mr. Jim Swartz, noted that no single company or institution can address the opportunities and challenges of the oil and gas sector alone.
The conference focused on how Nigeria can compete for capital and sustain production amid global volatility under the theme 'Thriving in the Evolving Global Energy Landscape: Collaborative Growth and Resilience.'
Swartz outlined four pillars that will define a resilient energy future, including continued investment, enabling long-term policies, competitive local capacity development, and strong partnerships.
