Chime Sees Strong Momentum, Raises Revenue Growth Guidance to 30%
Chime Financial Inc., () used the Goldman Sachs Communacopia + Technology Conference 2026 to share its growth story. The company's CEO, Chris Britt, highlighted that Chime is seeing strong momentum across products and member activity.
In the second quarter, volume growth accelerated to 20%, with full-year revenue growth guidance raised to 30% from a prior range of 25% to 27%. Incremental margins are running above 60% on a revenue basis, which Britt said would be above 70% compared to peers' calculations.
Chime has more than 10 million monthly active users, with most using the service as their primary bank account. The company has also launched Chime Prime, its premium membership tier, offering 5% cash back on everyday spending and 3.75% APY on savings.
The acquisition of Stride Bank at 1.5 times book value is expected to speed up product development and strengthen trust in the platform. Britt said that owning the bank will reduce duplicate compliance and legal review work, giving Chime more control over platform resiliency and allowing it to expand into new states.
