A phone repair technician in Shenzhen posted the video, saying 'Something like this would never happen in China.'

India began assembling Apple's top iPhone 17 lineup for the first time last year as part of a broader effort by Apple and other U.S. companies to depend less on China.

Beijing is not happy about India winning iPhone assembly work and other factory jobs, and it is now using the breach as an argument for staying in Chinese supply chains.
