Christine Dawson, 75, Passes Away September 6th
Christine Lee 'Chris' Dawson passed away on September 6, 2026, at the age of 75. Born on July 7, 1951, in Prince George's County Maryland, Chris was a daughter of Hilton Alfred and Ruth Ann (Mitchell). She graduated from Duval High School in Glendale, MD.
Chris worked as a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service in College Park, MD, before retiring. After her retirement, she worked in customer service for Home Depot and maintenance at Bryce Resort's Golf Course Driving Range.
Survived by her wife of 27 years, Terry Eller, whom Chris married on November 16, 2023, Chris also leaves behind a brother, Douglas Dawson, and two sisters, Stacey Morehead and Nancy Thomas. She is also survived by three nephews and eight nieces.
A celebration of life service will be held privately at a later date.
