Chrome Update Fixes 26 Vulnerabilities, Including Two Critical Flaws

Google has released an update for its Chrome browser to address 26 security vulnerabilities. The update, version 152.0.7977.75/.76, is available for Windows and macOS users.

The most critical issues are two use-after-free flaws that affect Shared Tab Groups and WebGL. These types of bugs can allow attackers to crash the browser or gain control within the process.

The update also includes several high-severity vulnerabilities in various components, including FileSystem, Skia, Omnibox, Proxy, Browser, Dawn, V8 JavaScript engine, and GPU.

Google credited internal teams and external security researchers for reporting vulnerabilities during the development cycle. The company relies on security testing technologies to identify bugs before they reach the Stable channel.
