Circle Announces Founding Validators for Arc Blockchain Network
Circle Internet Group has announced its founding validator cohort for Arc, an open blockchain network designed for global financial markets. The group includes prominent institutions such as BlackRock, Visa, and Mastercard.
The Arc network is currently in private mainnet with over 100 ecosystem and institutional builders and is set to launch on public mainnet on September 16, 2026. This milestone marks a significant step towards creating a trusted, globally distributed operator network for secure and scalable on-chain financial applications.
Major integrations are underway, with BlackRock expected to deploy its BUIDL fund on Arc, leveraging the native USDC integration. DTCC is also collaborating with Circle to enable tokenization of custodied assets on Arc starting in 2027.
