Cisco and Infleqtion Team Up on Distributed Quantum Networks

Infleqtion, Inc. (INFQ) shares have surged after the company announced a research collaboration with Cisco focused on distributed quantum networks.

The agreement centers on linking quantum computers, sensors, and memory systems through scalable network architecture, aiming to move beyond isolated quantum machines by connecting separate devices across shared network infrastructure.

Cisco will contribute its quantum networking research developed through Cisco Quantum Labs and its broader networking expertise, while Infleqtion will provide neutral-atom quantum platforms designed for computing, sensing, memory, and optical connectivity.
