Cisco Bolsters AI Infrastructure with Expanded NVIDIA Partnership

Cisco has expanded its Secure AI Factory collaboration with NVIDIA to support rack-scale deployments. This joint effort aims to address operational and security demands for larger AI installations.

The companies are focusing on pre-integrated designs, catering to businesses moving from early deployments to broader infrastructure roll-outs. The updated architecture includes Cisco's Nexus, UCS, Hyperfabric, and security products integrated with NVIDIA AI Enterprise software.

Cisco is adding support for NVIDIA Spectrum-X Ethernet networking and its own Nexus Dashboard, UCS Manager, and Intersight automation tools. The offering also features AI Defence to protect AI applications and workloads, Hybrid Mesh Firewall for segmentation and policy enforcement, and Splunk for monitoring and analysis.
