Cisco Bolsters Secure AI Factory with NVIDIA Partnership
Cisco Systems is expanding its Secure AI Factory through a partnership with NVIDIA. The platform combines Cisco networking, NVIDIA AI infrastructure, and Supermicro rack-scale compute to provide security directly into the AI infrastructure stack.
The expanded architecture aims to address rising demand for AI infrastructure that protects sensitive data while supporting complex workloads. This is particularly important as agentic AI increases the threat landscape and drives demand for security tools capable of monitoring agent behavior and mitigating evolving threats.
Cisco's expansion strengthens its competitive position against Palo Alto Networks and Fortinet, which offer similar solutions. The company is already seeing greater adoption of AI Defense and Secure Access guardrails as customers seek unified protection across users, applications, and agents.
