Cisco Brings AI-Powered Lifecycle Intelligence to On-Premises Deployments
Cisco has made its Cisco IQ SaaS deployment generally available in three regions since April 2026, attracting over 11,000 customers.
The company is now taking it a step further by releasing the Cisco IQ Air-gapped Virtual Appliance for on-premises deployments, which allows organizations to bring lifecycle intelligence and AI-powered infrastructure insights entirely inside their own network boundaries.
This new model provides a choice without tradeoffs for highly regulated enterprises that require data sovereignty. The virtual appliance is engineered to support operation as a self-contained intelligence platform with data ingestion, processing, assessment, and management capabilities required to function without external connectivity at runtime.
