Cisco Deploys Custom AI Agent to Entire Workforce
Cisco has begun deploying its custom AI agent, MyAgent, to its entire workforce of 90,000 employees. The announcement was made by Thimaya Subaiya, executive vice president of operations at Cisco, in a recent blog post.
MyAgent is built on the company's secure and governed AI platform, Circuit, which allows employees to access approved large language models, agents, and enterprise data.
The AI agent performs supervised autonomous workflows across various applications, including Outlook, Webex, Jira, SharePoint, and more. It also enables employees to delegate work by defining objectives and allowing the system to coordinate necessary steps.
A key feature of MyAgent is its ability to remember users' preferences, past interactions, and context over time, providing a personalized experience across interactions and workflows.
Cisco aims to leverage this technology as a blueprint for customers and partners to implement Enterprise AI at scale, helping them achieve transformative outcomes. Subaiya emphasized the importance of moving from AI experimentation to enterprise execution, which will lead to enduring competitive advantage.
