Cisco Faces Allegations of Failing to Protect Pro-Palestinian Employees

A US federal agency has found that Cisco likely failed to protect its Muslim, Palestinian, and pro-Palestinian employees from harassment over their national origin and religion.

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) said there was reasonable cause to believe that the tech company subjected a class of individuals to a hostile work environment based on their Middle Eastern background or association with Muslims.

Cisco has denied the allegations, but the finding is significant as it comes amid a shift in enforcement priorities by the Trump administration's EEOC chair, who has pledged to rein in what she sees as excesses in protecting certain minority groups.
