Cisco, Nvidia, Supermicro Unite to Power Large-Scale AI Deployments
Cisco Systems has expanded its Secure AI Factory partnership with Nvidia through a deal with server manufacturer Supermicro. The collaboration brings high-density, liquid-cooled compute to the companies' AI infrastructure offering, targeting organisations building large-scale AI deployments in data centres.
The expansion reflects growing demand for integrated systems that combine networking and security products with computing and software. Customers increasingly want validated combinations of servers, accelerators, storage, and management software rather than sourcing and integrating each layer separately.
Cisco is positioning its AI infrastructure strategy around integrated stack solutions, seeking a larger role in data centre projects often led by chipmakers, server makers, and specialist cloud providers. The company's Secure AI Factory framework now includes Supermicro's high-density server configurations and liquid-cooled systems, allowing customers to deploy dense AI environments with greater efficiency.
