Andre Cisco's future with the New York Jets is uncertain after an underwhelming start to training camp. The safety, who signed a one-year extension in May, has been struggling to make an impact, while teammate Dane Belton has impressed coaches and analysts alike.

Belton, acquired by the Jets during the offseason, had a standout performance on the first full day of pads, with Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic noting that he was in the backfield frequently and may have recorded sacks if it were an actual game. Belton's impressive showing comes after a strong 2025 season with the Giants, where he accumulated 120 tackles.

Cisco, on the other hand, has faced challenges in training camp due to his struggles with tackling and coverage, earning him the 67th-ranked coverage grade among safeties, according to Pro Football Focus. His lack of impact has put a spotlight on his uncertain future with the team, with some speculating that he may be pushed out by Belton.
