Cisco Partners with Jozi My Jozi on Johannesburg Community-Led Initiative

Cisco Systems Inc. has launched its latest community-led initiative in Johannesburg, South Africa, as part of its global 40 Communities (40C) program.

The new partnership with Jozi My Jozi, a citywide coalition of over 140 organizations, aims to address local challenges and promote long-term revitalization through four key workstreams: digital education and skilling, connected safety, smart mobility and transit, and responsible giving and community activation.

Jozi My Jozi will serve as Cisco's anchor institution for 40C Johannesburg, combining its deep local relationships with Cisco's technology expertise and global resources to drive meaningful impact in the region.

Cisco has a long history of engagement in South Africa, spanning three decades and including initiatives such as Country Digital Acceleration and the Cisco Networking Academy.
