Cisco Rides Networking Supercycle to Record Q4 Revenue
Cisco Systems reported strong financial results for its fiscal fourth quarter, with revenue reaching $17.3 billion, up 18% year-over-year. This growth is attributed to a 'networking supercycle' driven by increasing demand for AI-related hardware and software across Cisco's product portfolio, according to CEO Chuck Robbins.
The company saw record revenue in Q4, with product revenue up 24% year-over-year. Networking product orders increased 40% year-over-year, marking the eighth consecutive quarter of double-digit growth. Total product orders rose 35%, with double-digit order growth across all geographies and customer markets.
Cisco's AI infrastructure demand is also on the rise, with more than $400 million in AI infrastructure orders from neo-cloud, sovereign, and enterprise customers in Q4, totaling $1 billion for the year. Enterprise Nexus switch orders tagged for AI deployments rose more than 85% sequentially.
