Cisco Stock Surges 46% as AI Infrastructure Drives Growth
Cisco Systems, Inc., the networking stock listed on NASDAQ under ticker CSCO, has seen its value surge nearly 46% in 2026. This growth easily surpasses both the Nasdaq index performance and the overall 14.6% gains achieved in the Computer and Technology Sector.
The main driver behind this rally is the rapid upgrade of network gear by enterprise and hyperscale customers, with many investments directly associated with the build-out of AI data centers.
Cisco's fiscal 3Q 2026 results, which ended on April 25, came in ahead of consensus estimates. The total revenue was $15.84 billion, up 12% year-over-year and higher than the average analyst estimate of $15.56 billion. Adjusted EPS of $1.06 also topped the forecast of $1.04.
The company's stock jumped 15% after the report, its best since 2002. The networking product segment saw a 25% revenue increase to $8.82 billion, while orders increased by 35% year-over-year. Cisco's forecasted revenue for the next quarter of $16.7-$16.9 billion exceeded analysts' estimates.
