Cisco Systems Sees Increased Institutional Interest Amidst Volatility
Cisco Systems has seen increased interest from institutional investors in recent quarters.
In the second quarter, Insight Wealth Partners LLC bought a new stake in Cisco Systems, Inc., consisting of 15,539 shares valued at approximately $1,825,000. This represents about 0.2% of Insight Wealth Partners' portfolio and makes it the company's 29th largest holding.
This is not an isolated incident; several other hedge funds have also added to their stakes in Cisco Systems during this period. For example, Norges Bank acquired a new stake worth around $4.47 billion in the fourth quarter.
Cisco Systems' shares have experienced some volatility despite reporting strong earnings and upbeat guidance for fiscal 2027. The company's AI infrastructure orders have been increasing significantly, with a four-fold rise to $9.3 billion for fiscal 2026. However, management expects only about $7.5 billion of hyperscaler AI infrastructure revenue in fiscal 2027.
