Cisco Teams with Infleqtion to Advance Networked Quantum Technology
Cisco and Infleqtion announced a collaboration to advance networked quantum technology. The two companies will jointly research architectures and software to link neutral-atom quantum devices via Cisco's emerging quantum networking stack.
The partnership aims to accelerate scalable, distributed quantum computing by exploring the convergence of sensing and compute, quantum memory and optical transduction, and network-aware quantum software.
Cisco has developed a working research prototype called the Universal Quantum Switch, which can route quantum information between systems while preserving it with a conversion engine. Infleqtion's neutral-atom quantum computers and sensors will be integrated with Cisco's networking stack to advance distributed quantum systems.
