Cisco Unveils Cloud Control with AI-Powered Infrastructure Management
Cisco has launched Cloud Control in the U.S., its general availability marking a significant step towards integrating AI agents into the company's network fabric.
Cloud Control is designed as a single pane of glass for Cisco applications, overlaying existing environments to support an 'AgenticOps' model where human operators and AI agents co-manage infrastructure.
This model relies on the integration of Cisco Agentic Workflows, which bake both compute-heavy AI recommendations and repetitive operational tasks into reusable automations.
The launch also includes a Canada-centric sovereignty suite aimed at giving greater technological autonomy to government, financial institutions, healthcare, and other critical infrastructure providers in Canada.
