Ciscomani Secures Funding for Southern Arizona Education and Workforce Initiatives

Arizona's Sixth Congressional District is preparing for the new school year, and Congressman Juan Ciscomani is highlighting his efforts to support local education and workforce development. As a member of the House Appropriations Committee, Ciscomani has made investing in education a top priority.

Ciscomani has secured preliminary funding for several projects aimed at strengthening Southern Arizona's workforce and creating new opportunities for students. One such project is the Workforce Training Center for Technological Innovation, a 50,000-square-foot facility that will expand career and technical education opportunities for over 500 additional students each year.

The center will prepare students for high-demand careers in skilled trades, engineering, robotics, semiconductor manufacturing, mining, and other critical industries. Ciscomani has also secured funding for Pima Community College's Project Catalyst, an initiative that will modernize engineering classrooms, expand access to STEM education, and strengthen workforce training programs.

Ciscomani's advocacy has been recognized by local education leaders, who praise his commitment to expanding educational opportunities and strengthening the local workforce.
