Citi has introduced its Strata EliteSM Card, a premium card that competes with high-end offerings from American Express and Chase. The card's initial bonus offer rewards customers with 75,000 points after spending $6,000 in the first three months of account opening.
These points can be transferred to various airline and hotel programs, including American AAdvantage, making it a valuable option for frequent travelers. Additionally, cardholders receive annual benefits on a calendar year basis, allowing them to take advantage of perks such as $300 in hotel credits, $200 Splurge credit, and $100 in Blacklane credits.
The total value of these credits and points can amount to $2,325 during the first year, not including other benefits like Priority Pass and travel insurance. The card's annual fee is $595, although Citigold customers receive a rebate of $145.
