Clarke Joins Cast in Thrilling Action Series Supermax
Australian actor Jason Clarke has joined the cast of Amazon MGM Studios and Miramax's upcoming action-thriller Supermax. This marks his second project in a week, following Jaafar Jackson's recent addition to the film.
Clarke will star alongside Will Smith and AnnaSophia Robb, who play two FBI agents investigating a murder within the walls of a maximum-security prison. David Gordon Green is directing from a script by David Weil and David J. Rosen, with The Picture Company's Andrew Rona & Alex Heineman producing alongside Smith and Adam Fishbach for Westbrook Studios.
Clarke has recently appeared in Apple's The Last Frontier and Hulu's Murdaugh: Death in the Family, and is also set to star in Michael Mann's anticipated sequel Heat 2. He will next be seen in A Quiet Place 3, directed by John Krasinski, and Taylor Sheridan-penned F.A.S.T for Warner Bros.
The deal between Miramax and Amazon MGM was brokered by CAA Media Finance, which will release Supermax on Prime Video in over 240 countries and territories worldwide.
