Cloud Computing Leaders Deliver Strong Results Amidst AI Boom
The cloud computing providers are key beneficiaries of the artificial intelligence (AI) boom, as they spend billions on data centers for AI computing and then rent it out to clients.
Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Alphabet's Google Cloud are among the top companies in this field. They recently released their quarterly results, which were impressive across the board.
AWS delivered a 37% growth rate, exceeding analysts' expectations of 31%. This shows Amazon's strong position in the market as the largest cloud computing provider.
Microsoft Azure posted 43% revenue growth, but its growth rate isn't accelerating. Alphabet's Google Cloud, on the other hand, saw an impressive 82% revenue growth rate, although this includes revenue from selling custom AI chips to external customers.
