Coca-Cola India has partnered with IRCTC to bring waste-to-value solutions to India's first branded train, the Sprite Tejas Express. This initiative aims to repurpose post-consumer waste into meaningful applications across public settings.

The partnership was marked by a specially designed flag for the launch ceremony created using recycled PET bottles, and durable benches manufactured using recycled plastic waste have been installed at Lucknow Station.

Devyani RL Rana, Vice President, Public Affairs, Communications and Sustainability, Coca-Cola India and Southwest Asia, stated that the initiative demonstrates how responsible waste management can be turned into a practical reality. She added that they look forward to expanding such public-sector collaborations to support impactful solutions across India.
