Coca-Cola Bolsters Waste Management Efforts in Baler
Coca-Cola Europacific Aboitiz Philippines (CCEAP), the bottling partner and official distributor of Coca-Cola products in the country, has strengthened its partnership with the Municipality of Baler by supporting the community's waste management system. The company donated collection bins and a baling machine for clear PET plastic bottles under its Tapon to Ipon program.
The partnership aims to improve recycling efficiency in the municipality, which covers 13 barangays. CCEAP has been working with the Municipality of Baler since 2019, when it contributed a surf rake tractor to help maintain cleaner beaches through regular coastal cleanup operations.
Coca-Cola Europacific Aboitiz Philippines is committed to strengthening waste management systems and fostering collective action toward more sustainable communities. The company remains engaged with local government units (LGUs) and communities across the country, helping ensure that valuable resources are diverted from landfills and kept out of the environment.
