Coca-Cola Bottler SLMG Beverages Appoints Lagan Shastri as CEO
SLMG Beverages Pvt Ltd, one of Coca-Cola's bottling partners in India, has appointed Lagan Shastri as its Chief Executive Officer. This appointment is effective immediately and comes with a promise to take the company to new heights.
Shastri brings over two decades of experience across the beverages, FMCG, and consumer products sectors. He began his career at Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB) as a management trainee before spending 20 years in senior roles across sales, marketing, commercial profit centre management, and strategy.
In 2020, Shastri took charge as Managing Director and CEO of DFM Foods Ltd, where he led the transformation of the private equity-backed listed company into a professionally managed organisation. He later joined Reliance Consumer Products Ltd as Strategic Advisor, advising its leadership on commercial strategy and enterprise-level execution.
SLMG Beverages has announced plans to expand its capacity and is acquiring rights for various markets in India. The company aims to build one of the world's most admired Coca-Cola bottling businesses, recognised globally for innovation, execution, and long-term sustainability-driven performance.
