Coca-Cola Canada has broken ground on a major expansion of its Brampton bottling plant, which will add 62,000 square feet to the existing facility. The $141 million project is expected to create over 500 jobs during construction and increase production capacity with state-of-the-art technology.

The Brampton plant is Coke Canada Bottling's largest Canadian facility, employing around 1,300 people in manufacturing, distribution, logistics, customer solutions, and sales operations. The expansion will bring the site up to 732,000 square feet, making it a major hub for beverage production in eastern Canada.

Coca-Cola Canada President Tony Chow said, 'We're committed to growing in Brampton and building a future-ready, multi-generational business.' The company has invested over $230 million in its Brampton operations since becoming an independent family-owned business seven years ago.
