Coca-Cola Builds New Distribution Center in Upstate New York
A new Coca-Cola distribution facility is currently under construction in Halfmoon, New York. The project, developed by Scannell Properties, began in January and is expected to be completed by the end of this year.
The 130,000-square-foot facility will replace an existing distribution center in Colonie. It will have a 90,000-square-foot warehouse space, a 20,000-square-foot office, a 10,000-square-foot mezzanine, and various loading and cooler service areas.
A projected employment plan estimates that the facility will create around 150 jobs in its first year after construction is completed. However, the exact number of jobs it will provide is not yet known.
