Coca-Cola Campaign Urges Consumers to Ditch Devices Over Shared Meals
Coca-Cola has launched a new global campaign to encourage people to put down their devices and reconnect over shared meals. The 'World Will Wait' effort features two films, 'Laptop Face' and 'The Most Important Meeting,' which showcase the importance of human connections in today's fast-paced world.
The campaign also includes an out-of-home initiative with urgent messages such as 'Laundry can wait. Fried Chicken & Coca-Cola can't' and 'No one ever said 'this meal could have been an email.'
Coca-Cola's global president, Arnab Roy, stated that the company has observed a growing tension among consumers who desire genuine connection but feel overwhelmed by daily life pressures. The campaign aims to rekindle the joy of shared meals and position Coca-Cola as the perfect companion for these moments.
